The sequel to The LCA Method is here. I've put 60 brand new recipes in this one and not a single one repeats the first book: 14 breakfasts, 16 lunches, 24 dinners and 6 high-protein sauces. Same lazy rules as always, quick, high in protein, easy on the calories, built from everyday ingredients, and most of it on the plate in about 15 minutes. I still can't be bothered with faff, so you won't find any.

I made The LCA Method 2.0 for the same reason I made the first book: I love eating and I can't be bothered to cook. It's 60 new recipes that help you lose the fluff without giving up the food you actually like. Quick to make, high in protein, easy on the calories, and priced for a normal weekly shop.

Two things about me:

  1. I love eating (especially anything with melted cheese on top)
  2. I can't be bothered to cook (also anything with melted cheese on top)

These 60 new recipes are what I actually eat, so if you fancy eating like me, here are four to start with:

The recipe book you never knew you needed!

Two things about me:

  1. I never compromise on taste (especially when it comes to garlic bread)
  2. I don’t want to feel restricted (also when it comes to garlic bread)

These recipes literally form my day-to-day diet, so if you want to eat like me, here are some of my favorite recipes:

Remove all guesswork in your diet

Long-lasting change comes from good habits, not from turning your whole life upside down. Every recipe in The LCA Method 2.0 has the calories, the macros and the cost worked out for you, so building those habits is about as easy as it gets. Here is how the book does the thinking.

  • Satiating

Every recipe is built to keep you full: more protein, more fibre and lower-calorie swaps, so you stay away from the snack drawer between meals.

  • Easy

I can't stand being in the kitchen for hours or washing up a mountain after. These 60 recipes are simple, quick and light on the dishes.

  • Delicious

The only diet that has ever worked for me and my clients is one where the food is actually good. Big Macs, gyros, loaded fries, all made to fit your macros.

  • Cheap

Getting fit shouldn't send you broke. Most of the 60 recipes come in under 3 pounds a serving, all from your local shop.

  • Higher Protein

Protein keeps you full and holds your muscle while the fluff comes off. Every recipe is built around a proper hit of it.

  • Lower Calories

Unless you're in a calorie deficit, you won't lose weight. Every recipe shows its calories up front, and there's a MyFitnessPal barcode to log it in two seconds.

Frequently asked questions.

How do I access the recipe e-book after purchasing it?

You will have a link to download the file upon purchasing. You will also be able to download it from an email that is sent immediately upon purchase.

Can I print out the recipes from the e-book for easier reference?

Absolutely! A load of people have done this already. If you work better using a hard copy, then feel free to print them out.

Are the ingredients for the recipes easy to find in regular grocery stores?

Yes all the ingredients can be found in your local stores - I have listed which store I used for each recipe on the method and ingredient page. You shouldn’t need to go to any specialist stores for this.

Are the recipes suitable for beginners or do they require advanced cooking skills?

All the recipes are super simple and can be made by anyone!

Can I customize the recipes to suit my dietary restrictions or preferences?

Of course you can! I’ve included some recommended swaps and helpful tips for each recipe

What are the calories and prices for? The whole thing or per serving?

The calories, macros and prices are all per serving. E.g. if the recipes says it makes 3, the macros and price are always for ⅓ of the total recipe.

Can I adjust the serving sizes of the recipes to make more or less servings?

You sure can. You can easily adjust the recipes to suit your serving size. E.g. if a recipe makes 4 portions in the book, but you can split it out into 5, multiply the macros by 4 and then divide by 5.
